Update from March 2007
After SAF, I worked with Advocates for Basic Legal Equality for a summer before graduation and a year after graduation as an AmeriCorps volunteer, doing outreach to camps. I worked for several years as a paralegal in an immigration law firm before heading to law school.
I am now a criminal defense attorney practicing appellate law in Las Vegas, NV. I also take pro-bono VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) cases, which is a direct influence from my SAF experiences. I married a little over two years ago, and my husband is attending University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
