Help us raise $25,000 for our 25th!

"SAF has taught me that knowledge is nothing without action."
– Gerardo Silguero, SAF alumni 2015

For 25 years, Student Action with Farmworkers (SAF) has been developing the leadership of young people to improve the lives of farmworkers. SAFistas not only conduct outreach and link farmworkers to services in the community, but also work in solidarity with farmworkers to advocate for policy change, organize their communities, and educate others about social justice.

Because of SAF’s work building movement leaders, former farmworker teens & college student alumni are now:

  • Organizing workers with the Farm Labor Organizing Committee, United Food & Commercial Workers, United Farm Workers & Coalition of Immokalee Workers
  • Leading farmworker and immigrant rights groups, such as NC Field, NC Farmworkers Project, and El Pueblo
  • Mentoring migrant students through College Assistance Migrant Programs
  • Representing workers through legal aid and government enforcement agencies, and
  • Engaging in other social justice efforts with Southerners on New Ground, American Civil Liberties Union, and American Friends Service Committee, among others

Your contribution will not only honor our accomplishments supporting young people to improve the lives of farmworkers, but also to support SAF’s efforts to invest further in young activists.

Our goal is $25,000 by June 30, so please consider giving today!

We are asking first-time givers to donate $25 and long-time supporters to considering making an additional gift of $250, $2500, $25k or more.

Thank you for your support of our work improving farmworker lives with young activists!
