Hours and location: 30-40 hours per week, based in Raleigh.

Paralegal: Immigration firm seeks a part-time paralegal or legal assistant in Greenville, NC and a full-time position in Durham, NC.  The duties include assisting with nonimmigrant and immigrant cases as well as immigration court cases. Answering phones and translating are required.  Qualified candidates must have a commitment to hard work, attention to detail, excellent writing, excellent communication, and organization.

The Food Policy Project Administrator will serve as an important member of the World Food Policy Center (WFPC) planning effort, reporting to the Associate Director, and providing research, grant writing, communications and technical tool development, and outreach support for the proposed center.

We are seeking an Affordable Care Act navigator to serve residents of Forsyth County. The navigator will help eligible individuals enroll in qualified health plans on HealthCare.gov, apply for Medicaid, or apply for exemptions from the ACA’s requirement to have health coverage. The navigator will also participate in outreach and education programs with community partners, conduct education programs, and supervise and support volunteer navigators.

Project Access of Durham County (PADC), a non-profit organization, provides volunteer specialty medical care and services to low income uninsured residents of Durham County.  The PADC main office is located at Duke Regional Hospital with satellite office at Lincoln Community Health Center. National Farm Worker Ministry is seeking a passionate and experienced person to coordinate our Youth and Young Adult (YAYA) network based out of Orlando, FL. YAYAs organize their communities in support of farm workers, educating people and institutions about the conditions facing farm workers and mobilizing them to support farm worker campaigns for justice. The YAYA Coordinator builds relationships between YAYA members and farm worker groups as well as mentors group leadership.
 

The Durham Literacy Center is looking for three dedicated individuals to serve as full-time AmeriCorps Members with our Adult Literacy, Youth Education (YEP), and ESOL programs, respectively.
