Climate Health Epidemiologist

The North Carolina Division of Public Health seeks a Climate Health Epidemiologist to join our dynamic team. The position will be based in Raleigh, NC, part of the Research Triangle Park, a top region for environmental science and health work.  
The Climate Health Epidemiologist will use environmental epidemiology principles to support climate change adaptation efforts across the state and at the local level. This position will design and conduct surveillance and epidemiologic studies of climate-related exposures, including heat and wildland fire.
This master’s level position is located within the Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology Branch, which investigates workplace and environmental conditions that may pose a risk to human health. As part of the Division of Public Health, we provide evidence to support public health decisions and policy efforts across North Carolina.
