Director of Organizational Strategy, NC Child

The Director of Organizational Strategy is responsible for ensuring that all internal functions at NC Child are effective and equitable. While the Executive Director provides strategic vision and focuses on external relations including fundraising, partnerships, and public relations, the Director of Organizational Strategy is focused on overseeing the internal infrastructure needed to ensure the agency’s effectiveness, continuous learning, and sustainability. The two work closely together to build and support NC Child’s talented team of advocates.

The Director of Organizational Strategy supervises all directors of our advocacy team at NC Child. They ensure that every department has what it needs to fulfill its mission, and that staff are well-coordinated across departments and program teams. They are an excellent supervisor, team builder, facilitator, project manager, grants manager, and a steady presence that keeps everyone moving in the same direction. The Director of Organizational Strategy plays a key role in centering equity and racial justice in all internal operations and decision-making at NC Child.
