Migrant Seasonal Farm Worker Monitor Advocate - Columbia, SC

Job Responsibilities     
This position is located in the Workforce Innovations division in Columbia. Incumbent will perform and document complex compliance and operational audits of the South Carolina workforce system and SC Department of Employment and Workforce. Ensures that the agency complies with Job Service Regulations concerning services for Migrant Seasonal Farmworkers (MSFWs). Serves as an advocate for MSFWs to ensure that services provided to them are qualitatively equivalent and quantitatively proportionate to services provided to non MSFWs. Serves as a liaison between partner workforce entities. Communicates recommendations in formal audit reports. Follow up with client and management on the implementation of audit recommendations.

Minimum and Additional Requirements     
A Bachelor's degree with two years relevant experience. Must be able to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both orally and in writing.     

*Current, valid driver's license required. The selected applicant must possess or be able to obtain a valid South Carolina driver's license within 90 days of employment. Only applicants selected for an interview shall provide a current copy (must not be more than six months old) of their Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) showing the last three or more years of driving history.  The applicant's MVR must be obtained at the applicant's expense from the Departments of Motor Vehicles in all applicable states.  Applicants whose MVR shows involvement in more than two accidents in the last three years or more than eight current violation points shall be unqualified.
