The agency is seeking a LGBTQ Survivor Outreach and Advocacy Specialist to provide comprehensive services to LGBTQ survivors of violent and/or intrusive crimes and their families.

1.    Implement best practices and policies for serving LGBTQ survivors.

Lead Teacher Responsibilities:

Community Care of North Carolina (CCNC) is hiring a Statewide Contact Tracing Team to contact North Carolinians who have been exposed to COVID-19, explain how they can keep themselves and others safe, and connect them to necessary healthcare resources.

The Health Outreach Specialist acts under the direction, guidance and supervision of the Health Outreach Manager. This position is responsible for the completing basic health assessments, referrals and follow ups to migrant, H2A, seasonal, and retired farmworkers. Additionally, outreach activities, case management, and health education are core expectations of this position. This position requires working as a team, assisting with interns, students, and/or temporary Outreach Workers during peak season.

Location: Whiteville, NC (Outreach in Brunswick, Bladen, Columbus, Hoke, and Robeson County) This position will require extensive, in-person community outreach with mileage reimbursement

Hourly Compensation: $13 - $16
Hours: 40 hours a week (Starting immediately- December 30, 2020 with the possibility of extending hours based on grant funding and community need.)

The Farmworkers’ Support Committee is seeking up to 2 part-time Farmworker Organizers at 20hours/week.  The Farmworker Organizer will primarily focus on outreach to farmworkers throughout Southern New Jersey, providing information and education on COVID-19, workers’rights during the pandemic, documenting workplace conditions and sharing general information about CATA.The ideal candidate will speak excellent Spanish and English and have experience in organizing for social change. 

This position will work closely with CATA’s lead organizers and CATA members to advance CATA’s mission of working for better working and living conditions for all immigrants.  CATA is a migrant farmworker organization that is governed by and comprised of farmworkers who are actively engaged in the struggle for better working and living conditions. The mission of CATA is to educate workers about their rights and support them as they develop and exercise leadership skills in order to create a better life for themselves and their communities.

Arts and Science is seeking a dedicated Communications and Events Specialist to join The Latinx Project at New York University. This individual will develop and maintain the Latinx Project website, social media, newsletters and other communications channels. Research and develop relevant articles and stories about Latinx art, history, culture, news, etc. for distribution through various communications channels. Identify creative ways to generate user content.
