Farmworker Justice (“FJ”) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to empowering farmworkers to improve immigration policy, wages and working conditions, occupational safety, health and access to justice.  FJ engages in legislative and administrative advocacy, public education, capacity-building, and impact litigation, frequently in collaboration with farmworker organizations, labor unions, and other advocacy groups.

Overview of Position:           

Reporting to the Latino Services Manager, the Community Health Worker assists in the identification and engagement of communities and individuals who need information, linkage, and navigation within HopeHealth integrated care system. This includes the facilitation of patient navigation in Florence and other sites in SC as needed.

PASOs is looking for persons interested in applying for the Community Health Worker (CHW) position in Charleston County. This position is going to work with the local First Steps office in Charleston County. The purpose of the partnership between PASOs and First Steps local offices is to reach Latino families and children from 0-5yrs old to assist parents and caregivers of Latino children to assess their child’s development.
