– Farm Labor Organizing Committee members, farmworkers

That the [growers] association supports us, too
That all the houses have washers, dryers, and air conditioning that work
That the boss cares for and maintains the house
That we aren’t charged for our luggage when we arrive
That the drivers drive slowly, and for fewer hours, so that the trip is safe and there are no accidents
That we aren’t made to eat at restaurants that we don’t want to eat at during the trip
That we’re able to change buses, because sometimes we are badly mistreated
That we are treated with dignity
That we don’t lose the tradition that we have built with the union
That our seniority is respected when we’ve spent several seasons working, and that when the boss doesn’t want us anymore, we have a right to compensation
That we have equality with those who are here because we too are residents
That we have sufficient means to have a right to insurance
That all the inequality that exists today ends
That our rights are respected
That we have a secure future
That there is compensation for our families should we be injured
That there is a just pension for workers hired from different countries
