SAF's Levante Leadership Institute is a program designed to increase educational success and develop social skills of Latino youth from farmworker families in Johnston County and the surrounding area. Through popular education and cultural arts such as documentary/theater, students share their experiences, build confidence, gain leadership skills, and explore options for higher education. We connect youth families' with community resources and engage them in SAF’s advocacy and organizing work.
