The position is a permanent full-time position. We are looking for a motivated, bilingual (Spanish/English) individual who is excited to be part of a close-knit team working to improve the well-being of farmworkers and their families.
The primary purpose of this position is to support the goals of the North Carolina Farmworker Health Program and the Office of Rural Health. Under the guidance of the NC Farmworker Health Program Manager, this position will have the following primary job responsibilities:
- Behavioral health program development, integration, and management
- Provision of interactive, peer-engaged training opportunities
- Health promotion and materials development
It is expected that this position will work within the team to ensure that other program activities are accomplished including but not limited to grant writing and reporting, supporting training events and webinars, and compliance with federal and state requirements.
Lived and work experience with farmworkers is highly valued.
This position's primary office location is in Raleigh, NC. There is currently a teleworking option but that is subject to change per NC DHHS requirements.
