The Farmworker Project fellowship is a 3 month program where 4 fellows will work together with The Farmworker Project team to develop content that helps us to educate the general public about food systems and racial justice in agriculture. Our educational content builds awareness around the issues farmworkers face and at the same time helps to raise funds to provide mutual aid and support to farmworkers during crisis. The summer months are crucial as fire season approaches and many workers will unexpectedly be without housing or work. Each fellow will receive a $1000 stipend to take part in weekly discussions, readings, mentorship and content creation for our Instagram and TikTok pages. We will also have select in-person events over the summer of which fellows will have the opportunity to take part in and be paid for.
