Applications are now open for the 2026 NMSHSA Summer Internship Program! This 7-week, paid internship in Washington, DC is designed for current college students who were previously enrolled in a Migrant and Seasonal Head Start (MSHS) Program. Through this transformative opportunity, we aim to support the educational and career aspirations of emerging young professionals from the farmworker community.

Eligibility Criteria:
• Past enrollment in at least one Head Start Program for Migrant or Seasonal farmworker children (MSHS).
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Currently enrolled and working toward an undergraduate degree.
• Completion of 90 quarter hours or 60 semester hours by May 2026.
• In good academic standing at their current institution.
• MSHS program must be willing to verify and attest verification of applicants' MSHS program participation.
• MSHS program must be current with agency dues.(NMSHSA staff can verify this)
