The North Carolina Justice Center seeks a bilingual temporary paralegal for a 3-6 month position with our Workers’ Rights Project and Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project assisting with litigation and advocacy related to wage and hour issues, landlord/tenant, and consumer rights. Excellent Spanish skills are required.
Duties may include answering our intake telephone line, interviewing clients in Spanish and English, creating spreadsheets and entering data, filing documents in court, research, client correspondence, and providing clerical and administrative support to staff attorneys. The position is remote until at least October 15, and possibly beyond.
The ideal candidate would have availability one evening per week. 20-30 hours per week. $17-$22.50 per hour DOE, plus medical, dental, and vision insurance. Contact Carol Brooke (email@example.com or 919-856-2144).
