National Farmworker Awareness Week  |  March 25 – 31, 2019

National Farmworker Awareness Week (NFAW) is a week of action for students and community members to raise awareness about farmworker issues on our campuses and in our communities. In 2019 we celebrate the 20th Annual National Farmworker Awareness Week to raise awareness about farmworker conditions and to honor their important contributions to us every day!

This year we are proud to celebrate the 20th anniversary of National Farmworker Awareness Week. Since 1999, Student Action with Farmworkers has coordinated this week of action to raise awareness about farmworker issues, honor their everyday contributions, and gain more allies to help us advocate for better living and working conditions in the fields.

Our poster for this year's week of awareness, designed by Bonnie Campbell, highlights campaign signs SAF and our partners have marched with for the past 20 years to protest unjust conditions and advocate for justice in agriculture.

Join us in making collective change so that one day, all farmworkers will have dignity in their work and livelihood.
