This year we are proud to celebrate the 21st anniversary of National Farmworker Awareness Week. Since 1999, Student Action with Farmworkers has coordinated this week of action to raise awareness about farmworker issues, honor their everyday contributions, and gain more allies to help us advocate for better living and working conditions in the fields.
Our poster for this year's week of awareness, designed by Bonnie Campbell, highlights two farmworkers surrounded by a wreath of monarch butterflies, symbolizing migration, transformation, and beauty.
Join us in making collective change so that one day, all farmworkers will have dignity in their work and livelihood.
