NFAW 2025: Trabajadores de la Raza & Farmworker Advocacy Club - Cesar Chavez Commemoration

On Thursday 3/27, our annual Cesar Chavez Commemoration and statue garlanding ceremony will take place in the Peace Garden from 11am-1pm Pacific.

Our keynote speaker this year is Raul Moreno, former CAMP Director, UMS Coordinator and founder of Moreno Institute. We will have live entertainment including Mixtecos Unidos, Danzantes de Aztlán, and Mariachi "Orgullo de Fresno State." In addition, over 25 on- & off-campus organizations will be tabling at the resource fair and paletas will be handed out on a first-come first-serve basis. This year, Fresno State and CAMP will be receiving a certificate of recognition from the Office of Attorney General Rob Bonta for hosting this annual celebration. The planning committee is composed of Ofelia Gámez, Cynthia Villalobos and José Eduardo Mundo.

Peace Garden at California State University Fresno (Fresno State). This event is open and available to all who are interested to participate, regardless of race, sex, color, ethnicity or national origin.
