My experience with SAF has been amazing. We have been able to meet new people and talk about our lives. I’ve loved to talk about how to help farmworkers, especially in these hard times with the pandemic and this hot weather.
I’ve been in the fields and it’s not a safe place to be because there are chemicals/ pesticides and people and animals that can end up being hurt. Farmworkers often don’t get bathroom breaks or sometimes they are disrespected. I want to be someone who speaks up for farmworker rights.
