The big issue that was revealed to me

Through the Levante program this year, the biggest issue that was presented was people being overworked and not getting paid enough. I think that it should be like other jobs where full time is considered 40 hours. And anything more than that should be paid more with overtime pay. Especially when it's hard work like the fields.

I think getting the money you deserve makes a huge impact on how much you actually want to work. Someone that gets underpaid and is barely making it through life is not going to want to put in effort at the job. Then an employer will notice and it becomes the employee’s fault. Which is not fair. Because getting exhausted for what? Just to go home and not have enough and having to come back and do it all over again. I know it's not good to be money hungry. But in this world you need money to live. You need to get paid enough to have a basic human life.

My participation in SAF really helped me gain more knowledge, meaning I can share this knowledge with other people to see if there's anything else we can do to help.
